EXCELLENT FRESH FOOD
I diet most of the time so I'm pretty picky about what I eat at restaurants. Bear Creek Tavern did not let me down! I ordered their marinated chicken breast salad, and it was delicious. They do not use that pre-cut pre-packaged lettuce salad mix. All of the vegetables were fresh, and the serving size was generous. My husband ordered the Cajun cheesburger and was delighted that the meat had not been frozen. He likes some weird condiments on his burgers, and they obliged him with spicy horseradish as well as Dijon mustard. Not only was the food fresh and good, but the scenery is also wonderful. As the name implies, the restaurant sits beside Bear Creek which is a wide rocky stream. The sounds of the water combined with the antics of the ducks provided the best entertainment on a Sunday afternoon.    [30 Mar 2003 17:09:36]
