Great Food, Great Service, Great Time Recently my family and I went to eat at Austin's on a Sunday afternoon. As usual, the place was busy - as great places to eat should be. We were patiently waiting for a table that the staff thought would soon be vacated as the check had been dropped off and the plates cleared. Time passed by and the two couples who were finished dining and now just talking didn't seem to think the restaurant needed the table so the kept talking ... and talking ... and talking. The hostess and assistant manager kept coming by and joking with us about the group that refused to leave and apologizing for the wait. Finally another table cleared which they took us to and brought us a complimentary appetizer for having to wait so long. As usuall the service was great and the food outstanding. I look forward to their second location openning up soon and wish they'd open up a location in Denver. [18 Mar 2002 17:49:18]

An Incredible Place to Eat!!! Austin's is an incredible restaurant. I eat there on a regular basis. With great atmoshpere, and stylish yet elegant design, This establishment is nothing less than 100% on any rating. With resonable pricing, great food, and a server with a smile, I would personally recommend Austin's to anybody looking for a great evening. [06 Feb 2003 18:26:22]

Good Food, not so good service I thought that the food was decent, but I probably could have spent less money and cooked something better for myself at home. As far as the wait staff go, I was not impressed. He came to our table once to see if we were doing alright, just after he served us our food. What about our drinks or what not! Impeccable Service Austin's shines most brilliantly in its service staff. Its servers are well-informed and friendly. Even the food-runners seem to glance sideways at tables to make sure everyone is doing well. The servers neither rush nor delay, but bring drinks just as the thought, "I'm running low" crosses the mind. Meats, particularly the buffalo steak, are cooked exactly to specification. The creme brulee is delightful, and the real vanilla bean in the custard is an elegant touch. [10 May 2004 22:08:17]

Austin's Won Me Over The first time I went to Austin's we walked our dog to Old Town and leashed her outside of the patio. The waitstaff brought her a doggy bowl of water and three dog biscuits! The food was exceptional. I highly recommend the pork tenderloin, their special sauce is amazing. I can't wait to return! [16 Jun 2004 17:23:43]

Not for Vegetarians There is not a single entree on the Austin's Menu without meat in it. Granted, vegetarians are not the typical Austin's clientèle - but it would be nice if my husband could enjoy one of their excellent steaks without my having to go home hungry. [17 Jun 2007 20:46:45]
