I love this place!
Every time I drive through Glenwood Springs I go to the Sopris...and I have been doing that since it opened in the early 1980s, maybe before then. It is a special feeling place, although getting a little shabby in spots. Very friendly people and wonderful, wonderful food.

I know there are some good to great places in the area, but I have such great feelings about the Sopris that I never seem to get around to visiting them!    [29 Aug 2004 04:05:53]

Recommended Dishes: Weinderschnitzel and noodles. So scrumptious I often order some to go and take it home for later. And always eat it in the care while driving. They simply have a way with sauteeing the veal in a buttery crust. Yum!
