Bono's - Good Italian / Walking Distance to Hotels
Stayed at the Mariott and needed some quick food. Looked out my window and saw Bono's. What a surprise! Great food and I had to go back for seconds the next day. Try the Italian sausage sandwich, you'd swear that you're back in Philly. The lasagna was great and the garlic bread was more than ample. If I lived in the area I would be here at least once a week for a family pick-up. They do have some seating and don't seem to mind if you use it. [02 Jul 2003 10:19:35]

Still Good after all these years!!
It's been two years since I've visited Bono's. Stayed at the Residence Mariott across the street from Bono's. The owner's hair is little more gray and there seems to be more help and customers. He's expanding into the next store space and I hope this means more tables 'cause the lunchtime crowd is growing! This time around I did pizza and the sausage sub - both excellent. I wish these guys were here in D.C. I had a bumpy flight home guys but I looking forward to coming "home" to Bono's again real soon.

Dinner is a Smash!!!!!!!!!!!
Bono's has now expanded to sit down Dinner after 4pm at night. They took the unit next to them, what a good move! They have a dinner menu that is great. You can tell that everything is homemade with love the owners come out when they can to say hello and make you feel comfortable. I noticed that when I go in for dinner at night that everybody in there seems to know everyone else a warm and cozy feeling.
This place is a hidden treasure , the food is fabulous, what more can I say!
