I have been visiting the Lone Star in Golden 2 or 3 times a year since it opened. I have seen many employees come and go but my overall impression of this place is the same...I like it.

The food is good and reasonably priced but what is amazing about the place is how efficient the service remains between my visits....I rarely see familiar faces...the employees change between each visit but the service is always very good. The wait staff do a great job of being "just in time"...they never hang near the table but seem to arrive just when you begin looking for them.

This 6th Ave/Simms/Union area of Lakewood and Golden used to be a desert of places to eat in the evening, but now the area has lots of choices. But I have yet to find a place better than the Lone Star in the area.    [21 Jun 2002 01:15:44]
