Top: United States: CO: Greenwood Village Description
This is a unit of an Oregon-based chain, which franchises many of its outlets, but this location and its Cherry Hills Marketplace-based sister store are operated by a relative of the orignal founders. As the name implies, pancakes are its raison d'etre and if, for some reason, you don't like pancakes, it's best to dine elsewhere. Some egg dishes are available, but the selection pales compared to other breakfast and breakfast-only restaurants. Also, "breakfast-only" is the operative term, even though all locations are open until 2 PM, you won't find sandwiches or salads on the menu. Denver locations are locally popular and waits are common during busy times, such as Saturday & Sunday mornings. A community table is available for those who don't mind dining with strangers. The atmosphere is casual, but diners should be advised that their experience can be noisy, especially at busy times of the day, which includes a fair amount of screeching children on weekends. This location is situated in the busy 'edge city' of the Denver Technological Center, which can be very busy during weekdays and practically deserted on weekends. Though the restaurant is situated on a main thoroughfare, the Tech Center in general can be difficult to navigate, especially during the week, due to serpentine streets and locally heavy traffic. Patrons who have limited time and their heart set on visiting a location of this chain would be advised to opt for the Cherry Hills Marketplace location instead. Reviews review it add a link
