Pizza Place for dining and entertainment
Food: I had the 'valley grill' pizza. Excellent crust and good overall taste. It was delivered hot from the oven with a no-frills presentation. The 18" pizza served 3 with some left over.

Service: You order and pay up front at the counter and get your drinks from a big 'fridge and/or water from a water cooler. There really isn't a waiter/waitress to comment on. Table was cleared fairly quickly. There was no rush to leave after the meal because they understand that you're probably there for the duration of the entertainment. We stayed about 3 hours.

Ambiance: The restaurant was very neat, clean and attractive. Bathrooms were also neat and clean. I'd bet that most of the people were there for the Saturday night Blues Jam, but a few people mentioned that the music was a pleasant surprise. This is a family restaurant, so be prepared for kids. There's a computer toward the back that they can play video games on. It was mentioned that there had been a children's birthday party earlier in the day and that they showed movies for the kids on the huge projection TV. This is probably one of the last places I would take someone for an intimate, romantic date.

Other: The pizza is some of the best around, but it is pricey compared with a chain like Pizza Hut. For me, the big attraction is the atmosphere and entertainment. I have recommended the place to friends and coworkers and I believe that they have recommended it in turn to others. In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that I am a part-time musician and have been paid to perform at the restaurant.    [21 May 2006 14:11:02]

Best Pizza in East Boulder County!
Want really good pizza? Now, want a really good pizza, music and beer? You want The Pizza Place! They have hands down the best pizza in Boulder County! Three nights a week you can also hear some really good music. The Blues Jam Saturday night is alot of fun, for the audience and the performers. It is nice to see local folks getting a place to play.
