Too much food, mediocre quality
If all you are looking for is quantity, this is the place to go. And the Potato cheese soup was very good. But the Beefsteak tomato side dish was a whole factory produced beefsteak tomato with no flavor whatsoever, and since I was having steak and lobster, I certainly didn't need more than a couple of slices. And the potato side was a double serving, served with un-asked-for gravy.
My biggest complaint is that most of the seating is in boothes, and it was not at all comfortable for my oversized husband or myself. And as the tables are fastened to the wall, no adjustment could be made.
The decor is rustic, and would have been very pleasant, except for the dead animals mounted around the room.
And the birthday greetings were unasked for and unwelcome. We won't be going there again.    [06 May 2001 09:46:09]
