Great Local Greasy Spoon It is always packed!
Great breakfast/brunch after Church. You always see someone you know! [25 Oct 2002 14:54:00]

Fine food, great value These guys do a great job of dishing up the all-American standards. Catfish, chicken, steak etc... New carpet and new stainless steel in the kitchen kinda ruins the greasy spoon image. [07 May 2003 20:34:09]

Poor Service and Attitude Our group of three received poor service from the waitress and the owner for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Though the owner claimed the wait for a table at 9 a.m. would be no more than 20 minutes (or sooner), it turned out to be 40 minutes. When confronted with the time it took for our group, the owner lied and claimed he "personally" timed our wait at 17 minutes -- even though our group timed it at 40.
Service from the waitress was hurried and non caring. When told of a glass of water was delivered with trash floating in it, she shrugged it off as a "mistake" and did not even take it away. When told of the floating trash, the owner claimed they were busy, which presumably excuses such service.
We may return sometime, but probably not anytime soon. [02 Nov 2003 13:05:03]

Best Rellenos in town! Anyone west of the Mississippi knows what a crispy relleno is. And Aunt Alice's has the best you'll ever find. When you see the way the patrons greet each other, you can tell that it is a place that regulars frequent often, and for a reason. It's not fancy, but the food is the best in Longmont. The Surgeon called... I want my lungs back! When we took our family there - it was still a smoker friendly place. We asked for non-smoking & to our surprise: smokers sat on the left side of the aisle - non smokers on the right! I guess the tile walk way magically rebuffed all cancer causing agents! For that, alone, I suggest you visit! 9th wonder of the world... The food was average, price was average & the 3 servers we saw were onery old women... Aunt Alice's sisters? We will never, ever go again. [22 Sep 2006 12:58:18]

Good Hot Food, Service Sometimes Cold The food here is great when you are looking for that classic "family owned" restaurant menu, I can definitely recommend the Chicken Fried Steak. The service is sometimes “cool” but I’ve never had “bad” service. Wait staff are hurried and do not seem to like their job. Of course, considering the fact that some wait staff in Colorado receive “negative checks” because apparently there is no minimum wage, and taxes are taken on tips they don’t get, it’s a wonder anyone gets served anywhere in this state. Eat at Alice’s and get a good meal, and have a smile for the wait staff. They are efficient, but at times they are just not very happy. [26 Sep 2006 08:44:55]
