A Boulder County Tradition
Upon entering the premises of this Boulder county tradition, you are greeted by the ebullient German host, Andrea Liermann. Andrea’s personal touch is what has made this restaurant special since 1977. The establishment is fashioned in the style of old Bavarian hunting lodges—lots of wood and animal trophies adorn the walls. The burning fire in the corner and cozy warm atmosphere floods over you as you prepare yourself to order. Andrea’s kitchen is known for its fresh and natural cooking. Everything is made from scratch. Most of the German dishes, brought directly over from the family estate, use recipes that have been followed for many generation. Along with the old world classics, Andrea’s serves an appetizing variety of dishes. Her chefs have a wide range of lighter and healthier menu items that support and compliment the more traditional dishes.

My Favorite Restaurant in Lyons
I've been going to Andrea's for over 20 years. The German dishes are always great. I really enjoy the three weekends of Oktoberfest they are a blast with German beer on tap and live Ommpah music. Their homemade desserts are to die for.    [01 Mar 2007 14:27:16]
