A wonderfully romantic (and delicious) restaurant! My husband and I have been to the Mona Lisa four times, always thrilled with the service, atmosphere and food. It is a wonderful place to have a romantic dinner! Dark, elegant but not stuffy, quiet. The wait staff is attentive but not in your face. The food is AMAZING. I cannot get enough of the cheese fondue. We have always gotten fondue for two, and leave stuffed, satisfied and more in love every time. Don't miss this restaurant! [12 Aug 2002 17:57:20]

My favorite! My first time going to the Mona Lisa was on my birthday two years ago. I absolutely LOVED it! I have only been there one other time since then, but both times it was delicious. It was interesting doing the meat dish because you cook your own, and that was a lot of fun. If you're thinking about going there, definitely do it! [29 Dec 2002 18:44:05]

This is the place Mona Lisa is the perfect place for that special occasion such as an anniversary or even for popping the question. The ambiance is very romantic and elegant and the food is to die for. A definite 5 stars here [06 Jun 2003 20:26:33]

Not really Fondue To be honest while the atmosphere is very nice the food leaves a lot to be desired. The cheese fondue was pretty good, that being said it lacked the table side preparation of other fondue restaurants. The main course was the most disappointing because fondue was nowhere to be seen we cooked meat and veggies on a so called swiss grill which is nothing more than an electric hibachi that smokes and basically dry fries all of your food. This method compared to the traditional pot cooking I'm used too left a lot to be desired. The sauces were fine nothing exceptional but good.
Desert while very tasty lacked originality and even had the same name as the large chain fondue restaurants. Overall it was a pleasent dining environment, but the food was not very good, especially the main course. The portion sizes were very paltry considering the hefty price tag.
I can't recommend this place simply because if you are a big fan of fondue as I am there are establishments in town that do a better job. [29 Aug 2005 09:51:40]

Great experience Our very first trip to an amazing restaurant experience. We went last night and thoroughly enjoyed the decision. I have been to a number of more Traditional Fondue restaurants and left very satisfied but the Mona Lisa brings their own flare to the experience by using a "Swiss Grill" for the main Entree'. The wait staff were extremely helpful and very professional. The Seafood Entree was very filling, flavorful and quite enjoyable. Of course our favorite is the dessert.... Dark Chocolate on a variety of fruits, cakes and brownies....what can I say other then YUM!
In my own category of Bang for the Buck, I think this establishment is worth every penny. Romantic, and extremely comfortable was how I felt. [07 Apr 2007 13:36:59]

Loved It Went for an anniversary dinner. Had a little table in the corner, very romantic and intimate. The fondue itself was delicious - both the cheese and the chocolate. Loved all the goodies that came with each course. I didn't care for the "swiss grill" - I don't want to go out to eat and grill my own food. I much prefer the "pot" method for the meat portion. That said, I'd highly recommend it. If you don't like to grill, skip the meat course and don't worry - you'll still be full!! The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff was terrific - much prefer it over "the other" fondue restaurants in town. [10 Jul 2007 00:59:24]
