Hey, this is a way cool place that was recommended by a local person. It was a whole lot of fun to cook at the grill and meet some nice people.

I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a good meal and fun. Pretty reasonably for the Vail area.    [05 Dec 2002 19:53:06]

Great Steaks by you
I ate at this place about 15 years ago, it was good then and it's still good. You grill your own steak or fish with times provided. I'm challenged on a gas grill but grilled two perfect steaks on my recent trip to Vail. Lots of fun.    [03 Mar 2003 14:23:29]

Cook your own food!
Not sure where to begin. We decided to go to this joint based on an ad stating the steak was as tender and good as famous places like Del Frisco's, Ruth Chris and Russels (in Vail). I will tell you I have dined at all those places and can honestly say it doesn't hold a candle to any of them. Part of the allure of those places is having these great chefs prepare you the best meal you have ever had. Our experience was dreadful considering we ordered the ribs and upon opening the foil were greeted with a smell we never could have imagined (smelled like old meat). This caused us to return our meals and ask for steak instead. Steak was better but came out too rare and bland. (No surprise since there was no chefs around to assist or instruct us in the art of restaurant cooking). Dine here at your own peril. If you think you are good at the grill this place will test you!    [05 Mar 2003 09:32:39]

Excellent Food & Drink
On holiday from UK, visiting my Brother who took us to a 'lil ol' Country Club. This place was so warm and friendly, there was too much food to choose from. The barbecue grill was easy, and simple. The smells and taste was wonderful. All the different beers meant lots to taste and the waitress looked after us so well. This Country Club has to be visited or you will miss a special night out!    [22 Aug 2003 12:01:46]

Lot's of Fun!!
This place is great for families and the steaks are the best we have had in quite some time. It is off the beaten path and has the feel of old Colorado. This place is casual and not glitzy like Beaver Creek and Vail. The Prime New York was wonderful and perfectly prepared by ME!! You will love this place.    [29 Jun 2006 20:35:46]

Been there, Done that
I have dined at this small restaurant in Minturn. I will tell you that their tenderloin is pretty good but it's nothing special. Everything is a la carte and by the end of the evening you can plan on spending all the money in your wallet. Well over $50 per person and that is not over indulging. I wouldnt go here again unless I had a gift certificate.    [14 Aug 2006 12:59:13]

Couldn't pay me to go back.....
This place came highly recommended. It was fun cooking your own steak and meeting other people. But, after we paid our bill and waiting for the kids to finish playing shuffle board (in the restaurant) we were asked to leave because they wanted to "flip" the table, because there was a party of 8 that had been waiting for an hour. Well, intelligence would tell you to get there early so you don't have to wait. Needless to say, we will never go back there again. It was very embarrassing, especially when you are there entertaining a client.    [23 Mar 2007 21:15:11]

Most Flavorful Steak Ever
This place has been there for 25 years and there is a reason. The Prime NY Strip was the best I've ever had. The flavor was sooo good. They told us it is the seasoned grill that imparts the wonderful taste. You must visit this place if you are in the Vail area.    [17 Apr 2007 11:28:45]
