Highly Overrated
This place is always packed on Friday and Saturday nights, and they don't take reservations. The food is good and the margaritas are good, but unless you're prepared to slip the owner a fifty, don't expect to be seated in less than an hour (unless of course you want to eat dinner at 5). An Institution in the Vail Valley
A great spot and a great destination restaurant. After a hard day on the ski slopes nothing beats a margarita at the saloon. The ambiance is quirky and relaxed, but very lively. They get very busy on weekends so dine early or late to avoid a wait (no reservations- but call ahead for an update on the wait time). Great place to wear a Cowboy Hat
The food, service an ambiance, was great. The best part was the attention that my old cowboy hat received. The woman loved it! It could have been the really strong Margaritas, but I think it was the hat!

Poor Service
The bartender only serves the people he showed the hand shake to 25 years ago... The food tastes like it came from a can. Although The scene is okay.    [10 Feb 2009 17:50:04]
