Fun Can't say that it is top gourmet, but this place definitely fills one up at a decent price. The ribs were excellent and the staff friendly. The salad bar was above average. Cute decor. [28 Jun 2001 00:19:10]

Good Food, Generous Portions Stayed nearby at Fairfield Resort. Dropped in and we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and modern decor. Lots of trophies on the walls but looks to have been remodeled recently. The food -- very good ribs, and very generous fajitas. It has a nice salad bar and a nice red chili soup was featured one night, plus $3 margaritas which were excellent. We ate there twice. [13 May 2007 17:30:56]

Very Poor Food We had made a point to drop in here for a meal every time we went to Colorado because the food was always so good, but this time the meals were very poor.
I had the BBQ ribs. The waitress said something about them being in the presser cooker. When they arrived the ribs had one smear of BBQ sauce on them and had never seen a grill. The baked potato looked to have been reheated and was not good at all.
My wife had the chicken fried steak which looked like packaged food not made fresh from the kitchen. We will never go back. [26 Aug 2007 23:22:31]

The service is consistently TERRIBLE. We have been visiting Pagosa Springs for 4 years, and we now have a home there. Over the years we have eaten at Boss Hogs many times. The food is average to good with huge portions. The service is ridiculously slow and incompetent. We have learned that the one thing you can count on is the terrible service. [08 Nov 2007 17:11:02]

Service Poor. We live in arboles and have always eaten at Boss Hogs but when returning from Phoenix this week I doubt that we will eat there again. The prime rib special was not cooked as we requested. I asked the waitress if the salad bar went with the meal and she said no and it would be $3.50. Upon leaving the sign sail salad bar included. Had to request brea. [22 Apr 2008 09:34:35]
