We love this place. To begin with, the service is fantastic. Warm tortilla chips and homemade salsa arrive immmediately with your ice water. Drinks are great here- try the Cosmolito, a cosmopolitan made with tequilla. Yummmm. The Fiesta platter appetizer is big enough to make a meal for two, with quesadillas, flautas. taquitos, and nachos with guac and sourcream, of course. There is a large menu, most of the things we have tried, we liked. There is a great mariachi band on Sunday nights strolling the tables, taking requests. And the service is so friendly and attentive, you cannot help but enjoy your meal there.    [17 May 2006 18:53:52]

Terrific Food and Fun Times!
NMy wife, two kids and I have tried several Mexican restaurants in the Avon area, but Puerto Vallarta is our favorite. The decor is festive and the service attentive. The mariachi band is a compelling reason to dine there on Sunday night. But the real reason to travel to Puerta Vallarta is the food. Ask for the hot salsa, which has a good level of spicy heat to it. The menu has a great variety from which to choose. I've tried seven or eight dishes on a half dozen occasions and all have been terrific. There are even several different kinds of margaritas from which to choose. Like the dishes, all that we've tried have been terrific. It's well worth the effort to get a designated driver to dine with you.    [20 Jan 2007 16:05:02]
