Description

Cafeteria style family restaurant which provides both seating and take-out. They offer large portions and a variety of options for individuals, families and sizable groups. They also cater on and off-site. The restaurant also has a banquet room, La Maison Royale, that seats up to 200 people and has a separate entrance behind the restaurant.

Lacking Soul Except at Special Functions
As far as ordering off the regular menu at Dorothy and Leeroy's I do not recommend. This restaurant gives people the wrong idea of what soul food tastes like. You can tell the collard greens are not fresh. And the mac and cheese taste like it came out the box. The fried fish you can tell is frozen. However, if you do have a chance to attend a function in the hall the food is much better. If you are used to soul food this is not your momma's - I would pass!    [02 Nov 2005 01:49:54]

Down Home Warmth
I really enjoy the down home warmth and the food each and every time I visit Dorothy and Leroy's. The food servings are more than ample. I highly recommend Dorothy and Leroy's for front line and banquet service.    [17 May 2006 21:47:33]
