Description

Cafe Roma has brought a real piece of Italian culture to Bridgeport with its modern, yet sometimes contemporary, menu. Tradition is important, especially when serving Gnocchi made by the mother of the house. Modern and flavorful take on the traditional, using more fresh herbs, spices, and fruit flavor combinations, while at the same time cutting back on the oils, butters and creams that are so heavily prevelant in today's cooking.

Fortza Italia
This is Italian cuisine at its finest. Enjoy its quaint atmosphere with its chic patrons. Cafe Roma concerns themselves with wowing you, with seasonal ingredients, full-flavored dishes and superior cooking. The main dining area is full of decor that's reminiscent of the classic movie "Roman Holiday" and along with a thoughtful wine list, it's a combination that will make your heart happy.    [17 Jul 2006 16:02:35]

Inconsistent
The portion sizes for the same dish have varied greatly in several visits. Service is also very inconsistent depending on who you have as your server. The food is typically good quality and tasty. The atmosphere would be great if it weren't so empty, which makes for an awkward atmoshphere. A bit of advertising and I think they would get more of a following. I live nearby and people don't know about it.    [13 Dec 2007 11:29:18]

I went and thought the portions were very small and that was pasta the cheapest thing you can buy and I am not big person. They should have wine dinner party and not charge $100.00 pp. They gotta come down with their $$$ and go up with their portions    [25 Mar 2008 17:01:26]
