Just ok We were excited to try it but found it pretty average across the board. [05 Mar 2007 23:45:20]

Miserable meal We were excited to try Cafe Roma. We went on a Saturday night - the place was empty. One or two at the bar and two tables of two.
The Service was breathing, that was about it - if asked questions - the waitress pointed to the menu and read it to me.
The food was truly disappointing. The salad was drowning in dressing and somehow during summer with every farm stand brimming with fresh wonderful tomatoes - the tomatoes on the salad were mealy and lacking flavor. The salad had a grit to it (in the dressing?) that stuck in our teeth - The waitress took the salad back and asked if we did not like it - I explained and she just walked away (and still charged us for it). The green beans (side dish) were very nice - fresh and good flavor. The Gnocci was a disaster. So slimy and soft that they almost fell apart on the fork. We barely touched this as well.
At that point we cut our losses and did not look at the dessert menu. I would not go back and would not recommend this restaurant for any reason. [12 Sep 2007 09:59:34]

Enjoyable Hmmm....I've gone there a couple times now for lunch only but have always come away happy. The last 2 times I had the grilled chicken ceasar which was the way it should be - salad cold - chicken warm. Although busy the staff was attentive and we did not wait long. I like the set-up and decor. [12 Jun 2008 16:07:19]
