Description

Connie's Family Restaurant offers Italian Cuisine. They do a lot of catering both on and off premises. There is a private room for parties. The dining area is smaller and there is also a separate bar area. There is plenty of shared parking on the side of the building.

Hit or Miss
This restaurant has been around for a very long time and has gone through very good periods and bad periods. My family has often had occasions there in the past, they have a private party room, and their prices are fair and food good. When you go just for dinner it's hit or miss, sometimes you get an excellent meal, other times not so much. They do give you roasted garlic to spread on hot toasty bread, and I just love that! Also, the service is always great, and the times we have had a problem with the meal they have always compensated us in some way. The menu is a little pricey, downtown Derby needs to be built up a bit more before they can charge those prices in my opinion, but hopefully that will be coming soon.    [20 Oct 2006 12:06:34]
