Lovely Atmosphere
This is the former "Hathaway" restaurant. It has been completely remodeled from start to finish. The decor is lovely and the seating is comfortable. You can opt for indoor dining or outdoor dining, both with a spectacular view. On the weekends they offer live entertainment. During the week they offer dinner specials. The food is very good albeit a bit pricey. Unfortunately, I have never had decent service. I have dined there numerous times and have always had to wait to be seated, wait for my drinks, wait for the order to be taken, wait for the order, wait for more water, you get the idea.    [01 Oct 2005 17:27:24]

poor service
Nice atmosphere and ok food, but terrible service. This is the second time we've tried it and both times service was sub par.    [21 Oct 2005 19:24:24]

Good food but not worth the wait
To echo other reviewers, the food is actually quite good, but the poor service puts a damper on the entire evening. We keep trying to "give it a shot" thinking we've had bad luck with particular waiters, but each time we seem to be waiting more than we are enjoying. Too bad.    [16 Oct 2006 18:06:25]

horrible
The service is beyond bad. we waited 1.5 hours for 3 sandwiches from the bar menu. The server swipped our Credit Card on the wrong bill, which was more, and the owner/manager had to fix it and never apoligized for the wait or the billing error. The food was not good, all four people at my table had GAS beyond belief.    [20 Nov 2006 19:21:46]

Same thing- only different
Sadly, people will allow a place to stay in business, sometimes when it shouldn't, for the treat of a "water view". Its also a BIG biker-destination - so expect rowdiness from the outdoor bar, and loud exhausts when dining on a nice day. This guy has a classy spot, and remodeled nicely - but runs it with an air of arrogance - this may explain the difficulty getting good staff and reliable food.    [01 Jan 2009 10:39:58]

disatisfied
A nice place with a nice atmosphere but not worth the wait and the food is okay. I have been here 2x. The first time all 3 of the people in my table had their food and I had to wait an addtional 30min; by time I got it everyone finish their meal and the manager wouldn't even give us the free drinks. The second time, the wait was not bad but our vegetable was a bit salty. Its too bad because it can certainly be an upscale restaurant if the staffs are trained and the chef taste the food. I also think the it's a bit pricey for what were getting; they should be paying us for the wait.    [29 Apr 2009 17:47:30]
