Description

Hartford Road Cafe in Manchester first opened its doors in 1938. This historical building was recently renovated by new owner Pamela John. The dining room, with fireplace, is comfortable and cozy. The everchanging American menu features appetizers, soups, salads burgers, and generously portioned entrees such as ribeye steak, pasta primavera, meatloaf, shepherd's pie and seasonal specialties.

The Best
Upon our last visit, we were greeted at the door by Proprietor/Owner Pamela John. We were seated by one of two fireplaces in the dining room while listening to background acoustic music. We were overwhelmed by the hospitality, great food, and great service all in one place. We will be going back on a regular basis now that we've found this "Diamond in the Rough"!! Cozy Good Food
Buffalo Wings Guiness Style were delicious, the 16 were too much to finish for one person and just enough for 2. Ribs were good and the bacon wrapped scallops were excellent.    [15 Feb 2003 08:33:08]

Great place to have fun!
I have always enjoyed the food and ambiance at the Hartford Road Cafe. It is a pleasant departure from loud, cookie-style dining establishments, with a warm friendly staff and great food and munchies. The wings are great!    [02 Mar 2005 10:20:48]
