Horrible service
We love the food at Carl Anthony's unfortunatly the service was absolutly horrible. When you are out for a relaxing evening and the waiter doesn't even bring water ask how any of the entree's are or even if we want dessert. We eat out frequently and this was absolutely the worst service we have had in years.I felt like I was at home serving myself. On top of it all I wanted the more expensive entree and he said that they did not have any more of then tuna but how odd when the table next to us got the tuna and they where seated after us.

One of a kind
One of the best and most unique restaurants I've ever been to. Everything from start to finish was mouth watering. Definetly not what you would typically find in this area, I thought I was in NYC, not Monroe. Fun, busy, and friendly atmoshpere, great staff. Fantastic
Carl Anthony's is not the type of place for someone who is just looking to order the same old Italian dish like ziti with meatballs in marinara sauce. This is a new and trendy type of dining with a twist of greatness. I have been back to Carl Anthony's a numerous amount of times and each time I love what I have to eat. The Balsamic Calamari is outstanding and my favorite by far. Some of the meat quality could be improved but the desserts make up for that ten times over. The service can be slow at times, yet I feel it goes along with the relaxing feel of the restaurant. Carl Anthony's is great for a date because you can sit and talk without ever being rushed and it has a romantic setting to it!    [07 May 2007 15:17:11]

Horrible hostess
While quoted a half hour the wait turned out to be an hour and half. If they orignally knew this I would have been more than happy to go elsewhere. Unfortunately, the organizational skills of the hostess was horrific. I will never be going back to this place.
