unimpressed With Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse’s reputation I expected a fantastic meal. The service was wonderful, but could use a little more knowledge on their menu items. The ambiance is great, and I liked that the tables were not so close together and that I could enjoy a nice conversation with my dinner companions. However, the food left a little to be desired. The others in my group enjoyed their meals, but didn’t rave about them. The side dishes and salads that we shared as a group were very nice, but nothing special. My filet was dry and over cooked on the edges, but fine in the center. Honestly, when I cook a filet at home it comes out ten times better. I left unimpressed, and I highly doubt that I will dine at a Ruth’s Chris again. [24 Apr 2006 11:47:11]

Love it Dined here last week and will definitely be back soon. The service was exceptional, attentive yet unobtrusive. We had someone named Julian as our waiter and he was funny and very knowledgable. My wife is a rather picky eater and they made every effort to accomadate her desires. The food was amazing, the kind of steak one drools over. I love how it came to our table still sizzling. The wine list is also wonderful with lots of great options. We were visted by a manager (don't remember his name, something with an S) who checked to see if everything was cooked right and if we were happy. Happy wasn't the word...elated to find such a gem in the area was more like it. We will certainly be back and I encourage you to treat yourself. [19 Feb 2008 17:00:49]
