The best greasepit in CT!
Everyone loves Swanky Franks! It's one of the few places that hasn't changed since I was a kid. Everyone feels welcome at Swanky Franks. You'll see businessmen chatting with truck drivers. Awesome fries!    [30 Sep 2003 10:47:48]

Good food, bad service!

I was visiting for the first time at Swanky Franks in Norwalk, Ct. The food was tastey, but the waitress was horrible! I did not catch her name because she did not state it. My fellow workers and I had lunch there, we needed separate checks for job purposes. The checks each were about $5.00 or so, 15% of that is about $1.00 or so. We left the change from the individual checks for each tip. We proceeded to pull out of the parking lot, when the waitress came outside and gave us lip about the tips. She stated "You should all be ashamed of yourselves...!" and so on. We backed up and she had the nerve to hit the passenger window with her cleaning rag! Now, someone with a personality like that, shows her horrible customer service. I will never dine there or have any loved ones dine there with someone who has a bad temper and poor service skills. I didn't appreciate her causing a scene outside,that looks bad for the restaurant I think! Everyting I say is the truth and I was very upset about it! I love this place
I was borm in Stamford 45 years ago. I recently went back with my family and brought them to Swanky Franks. They loved it as much as I did. They still talk about the great time they had at Swanky Franks. I hope this place never closes    [05 Oct 2004 11:58:14]
