Rude
Boom is beautiful inside, is in a good location, and the menu looks lovely.
I wish I could say how the food was. My girlfriends and I were out shopping and thought we’d stop and have a nice dinner. We were dressed appropriately, and the restaurant was fairly empty, with maybe only three or four tables occupied. We were greeted by the rudest hostess I’ve ever encountered, and we got asked very rudely, “Can I Heeellllp you?” We asked for a table for four and were told there were none available, even though we could see at least half a dozen empty tables, when asked if we could sit at the bar (not a soul was sitting there) we were told no. All of us were shocked, since we’ve never been treated that way before. It was only 7:30pm on a Saturday night; we were not given any reason, other than just no, on why we were not able to be seated.
A waiter can by the front and we asked him for directions to another local restaurant, he was very polite and gave us accurate directions and we left.
The four of us will not be attempting Boom again.    [14 Apr 2008 14:19:14]
