Poor Business Practices
We had a dinner for 5 on Oct 13, 2005. The food was fine, despite the restaurant being out of several key items like mozzarella cheese and creme brulee.

Our bill was ~$108 dollars. We had the waiter scan three credit cards for a total of ~$130 (ie approx 20% tip). We signed the receipts and indicated a $0 tip, since it was already included.

The waiter then changed the tip amount by $10 to further increase his tip ON EACH CARD. He thereby illegally received an additional $30 tip.

Business practices like this speak for themself; please eat elsewhere. The managment was unhelpful and admitted that this is a common practice to add to the tip amount for customers who undertip.    [17 Oct 2005 17:47:44]

excellent Italian
I've been here several times and everything's been outstanding each time. my only complaint is that the air conditioning seems to be on full-blast.

My parents eat here regularly and have become very friendly with the staff.

It's disturbing to hear of Brian's experience, but hopefully that waiter was fired.

Final note: be sure to go hungry as the entrees are huge servings and include a side dish of pasta and salad, as well as bread with seasoned olive oil for dipping.    [03 Mar 2006 20:26:28]

Very Poor Service
We decided to try this restaurant to decide if we wanted to have my son's wedding rehearsal dinner there. The food was delicious but the service was horrible. The total time it took to have dinner, without any time spent on drinking, was 2 1/2 hours. One waiter for at least ten tables. And that one waiter kept on forgetting our table altogether. It took 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee and 30 minutes after that to finally get the dessert menu which we asked for with coffee. Needless to say we didn't think the waiter deserved a tip. We could understand if the restaurant was short handed but this waiter didn't even make use of the bus boys or the people putting the bread on the table. He could have asked them to serve the coffee and dessert. A tip use to stand for something, A THANK YOU GOOD SERVICE. Not anymore. Now they get insulted if they are not rewarded for poor service. But, not only did he not receive a tip, the restaurant lost a party of sixty people for next June.
Even thought the service was poor, the food was very good and we decided to have take our chances and have the dinner there anyway. Maybe it was just a bad night. No such luck! When I called, to reserve the date, I asked for the chef, who knew we had dinner there the evening before. And putting two and two together, very politely told me that next June they are turning the restaurant into a sports bar and would no longer be having parties. Excellent, Great Food
I've been here a couple of times with my family. Everthing is always perfect.
I never complained aboutthis place.
It is always so clean and the staffs are very kind and friendly! Forget about Brian and Joyces reviews. Sometimes accidents happen! So far this is the best restaurant i've ever been too.    [08 Aug 2007 18:01:46]
