Very Fine Dining The Cottage is an event. Chef Patti Queen changes the menu monthly. Exceptional cuisine at a fair price. Very cozy atmosphere. Quiet and relaxed. Suit & tie not required. It is a step above casual but very comfortable. The wait staff is friendly and courteous and there when you need them and don't pester you when you don't. This is a 4 star experience. Don't miss this CT Treasure! This has become a place for us to come whenever a birthday or anniversary comes up. We so look forward to seeing what's new on the menu. Every part of your meal is a delight from the meat or fish to the potatoes or vegetables that come with your meal.We have never been disappointed. [12 Nov 2004 07:21:26]

you've got to get here! This is an outstanding restaurant although I'd like to say otherwise to keep it a secret. The food, service, and atmosphere are exemplary. Prices are very reasonable and wine selection is good. Give it a try! [14 Nov 2004 04:50:41]

Favorite by far My wife and I splurge once a week at an upscale restaurant. This is, without question our favorite. The food is outstanding and I've tried just about everything they have to offer. Only complaint....don't order an appetizer for every person and one will easily feed two people and leave just enough to finish about half of your entre. Even the salads are huge. Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: Veal Oscar, Grilled duck with cherry reduction, anything cajun and the garlic wings for an appetizer!
