Pagliacci's: Worth a Trip from Anywhere
Several years ago, a friend landed a new job working in the Hartford area. Knowing that I am always on the lookout for new Italian eateries, she enticed me to visit by bragging about Pagliacci's Restaurant in Plainville. Although skeptical, I made the trip from Albany, NY, to visit my friend and try this fabled bistro. That was ten years ago, and I haven't stopped raving about the place since.

Without question, this restaurant has since provided me with the best dining experiences of my life. I have made it a point on many occassions to visit Pagliacci's, often turning around and heading back to Albany afterwards.

The pasta is handmade on location, and provided in more than ample portions. No one,in my experience, has ever left Pagliacci's without leftovers.

Fresh bread is, of course, provided with the meal. The staff is always courteous and happy to help in any way, and the restaurant itself provides for a lovely dining experience.

In my estimation,however, the centerpiece of the Pagliacci's experience must be their exquisite sauces. The meat sauce, in particular, is prepared and spiced to perfection.

Without hesitation, I whole-heartedly recommend Pagliacci's Restaurant to anyone and everyone, from near or far. You will not be disappointed.    [03 Dec 2000 14:43:17]

Hear, hear!
My mother first introduced me to this restaurant when I was little. I had almost forgotten about it when my husband and I drove by one day while looking for something. I immediately recalled the wonderful fresh pasta. I implored him to try it with me and we have been there now 3 times in the last year.
