Pretentious Service: Extremely slow. 50 minutes for pick-up is worst in class, and they still weren't ready when we got there, and we had to wait another 15. Which was horrible in itself -- the place is noisier than a daycare. When calling in order, we asked about whether one ingredient was present, and was told it wasn't. It was. The person who took the call obviously didn't know, made a wild guess, and should be glad it was a "dislike" thing and not a food allergy.
Their food is extremely bland, and will probably be a great success with kids. Their "cajun" pizza was completely without any kind of spices -- not even oregano, and tasted about as much as the cardboard it came in. Leaving the tail shell on shrimp is OK if you serve them from a tray, so people can pick them up, but NOT in pizza. Having to dig with your fingers into hot cheese and tomato sauce to get the tail is YUCKY.
Serving a standard hamburger with oblong bread cut diagonally doesn't make it more exciting -- especially not when they don't even bother to use real mayonnaise. Less exciting than a whopper, but at a much higher price.
The calamari was served with chopped lemon - not even on the side, but mixed in. A sure sign of customers who don't like "fishy" taste is always eating seafood with lemon. The minority of us who love seafood for its own taste prefer it without, and would like to have a choice, thank you.
Prices are high, which doesn't reflect the quality of the food, nor the service. Probably an OK place for kids or others who want pseudo-Italian without even a hint of actual taste. [11 Jul 2008 23:06:25]
