Description
An enormous array of sandwiches, burgers, and entrees to choose from, followed by even more combinations of ice cream sundaes and specialties for dessert. Casual, family-friendly atmosphere. Also notable is the large "souvenier shop" by the cash registers, featuring rubber stamps, knick-knacks, incense, and other odds and ends.

Bad Service, Bad Waitress
Last night I went to Kathy John's and recieved really bad service. The waitress threw the silverware at us, and made it seemed that we didn't know how to read the menu when we asked questions. We thought the restaurant was closing soon, but more people started to show up after we sat down. The waitress suddenly became nice to the other people and later to us, when she realized we were unhappy.
I will never go back to Kathy John's again after the poor service we received and will tell people to reconsider going there as well. [09 Dec 2005 11:13:14]

Mixed Feelings..
The ambiance is pretty cool, it's a fresh-feeling yet old-styled place, filled with interesting things to look at and various nick-knacks, etc. The food is mediocre at best. If I were paying half-price I'd likely be happy with the food, but for what it is it's rather overpriced. They tend to have a good deal of ice-cream creations at a more reasonable price--perhaps KJ's is a better place to visit for ice-cream than the overpriced, not entirely satisfying food.
