Hidden gem

If you are looking for an excellent meal at a very reasonable price with outstanding service and very genial hosts, The Shell Station Restaurant is the place for you. The food is excellent. There is a sushi chef on premises who makes the sushi right in front of you. It is the freshest in CT. The seafood is also the freshest in CT. Exquisite in every way
Intimate atmosphere; seats 30 to 35. Each meal appears to be prepared individually, as close to homemade as possible, no mass production here. The sushi is delightful, especially the spider roll. Ginger salad dressing exceptional. Seared salmon steak over dressed greens..out of this world. Rack of lamb...unbelievable. Generous portions, clean and quaint, though modern. fantastic
We had the scallops and sushi and the food was fantastic. The service is great with kind of a family atmosphere with the owner working the room and everyone friendly and open.
