Summer Shack at Mohegan Sun Disappoints
We were just a couple of hard working lawyers from Hartford out for a night of fun at Mohegan Sun. We gambled for awhile and then thought that we should power-up with a good dinner before getting into the really serious gaming. We had heard good things about Jasper White's and decided to head in there to gorge on seafood. Much our dismay the portions were small and very unsatisfying. To add to the misery, the price tag was hefty, considering that we were leaving hungry. In fact, we headed down to the buffet and had dinner there. we've been laughing about our Summer Shack experience every time we bump into each other. In a word: This place "sucked" and should most likely be avoided if you are actually hungry and looking to eat a decent portion for dinner. If you are on a diet and don't mind spending big bucks for the privilege of renting a table in this establishment, have at it. Way too overrated for what it really is.
