Great atmosphere, disappointing food
Word of mouth is the best advertisement, however my trip to Pancho Loco was less than expected. The restaurant had a comfortable feeling. The trivia cards on the table involved the entire family/group in dinner time conversation. The salsa that accomplied the chips lacked a certain spice, it was very good - certainly would appeal to wide range of patrons. The steak fijatis was a little on the tough side, chewy. The full rack of ribs were a great portion, however lacked a good flavor, they were boiled not smoked. Overall, I was very disappointed in the food. It was severely missing good flavoring. I would recommend that the cook sample some of the other Mexican restaurants to sample their flavors. The atmosphere was perfect, along with the Margaritas.    [03 Jun 2007 09:41:54]

I visit the people at Pancho Loco at least once a month, and every time I go there I am blown away by the wonderful service, short wait times, and superior food. I went tonight, and had some of their awesome "Dave's Wings;" those things are great. The perfect blend of sweet and spicy make them the best honey barbecue anywhere. I'm very surprised to read the last post, because their ribs are to die for, and you just have to make sure your leave some room for their awesome fried ice cream (yeah it sounds scary, but don't knock it until you try it!) Another of my favorite Mexican meals there are their Chimichangas (I have a feeling I butchered that spelling.) They have everything that the taste buds crave, they are salty, and crunchy, and gooey, and just absolutely fantastic, so long as you're not on a diet.

If your in the mood to have a few cocktails too then you are in luck. Bill is a master behind the bar, and can make just about anything you ask him for. They have tons of great tequilas as well. If you like margaritas, then you have got to try one of Bill's or Bret's Ultimate Margaritas, you will feel like you have been swept off to a beach-side restaurant in Mexico.
