Best Seafood in Connecticut
The food at Chick's Drive In is outstanding. The clam strips are delicious and cooked to perfection. The fries, onion rings and other blue plates are also excellent. The service is very friendly and helpful,and there is not a long wait (except in the summer sometimes the lines get long), but it is definitely worth the wait. Need to Reevaluate Their Business
Their restaurant needs a good cleaning and sprucing up. Their workers are not friendly or courteous. Their prices were always too high but that is a minor problem at this point.    [25 Feb 2007 09:56:07]

Love this place
It's a find - local, casual, great food, great price, right across from the beach! We've brought friends from NYC & Paris for the July 4th fireworks show in West Haven in 2004, and they loved it, too.
