Good seafood, great prices There are two "Fish Tales" one in Westbrook and one in Madison. Westbook has a sit down restaurant, that is the main difference. The food is what people come to the Connecticut seashore to eat. Over laden platters of fried clams , with bellies for the purist, strip for the novice, shrimp, scallops, cod, and much more. Served with their signiture coleslaw and either French Fries or boiled red potatoes. After you finish your meal pick up one of their shirts, they are also about the best prices tees to be had in a pricey area. Be prepared for a long wait in the summer, and a wait any other time you stop. Believe me, it's worth it. [01 Sep 2005 23:32:21]

Overrated Fish Tale is where the tourists go, so expect crowds and slow service. Better bet is to go across the street to Westbrook Lobster. [22 Dec 2005 17:05:02]
