Sal's is THE place for pizza & pasta! Come hungry, prepare to carry leftovers home...and fight over them the next day! Sal's makes all the basics of southern Italy so well, I would be surprised if anyone leaves without a smile. Be prepared to wait for 20 minutes or more during the summer, when we locals don't go -- even take-out can be a long wait. Ther wait staff if friendly, very kid-tolerant. If there's any criticism, it's that the tables are all round, and it's tough to assemble the big groups that all decide, "Let's go to Sal's!" at the same time. [26 Jan 2007 09:14:10]

Gigantic portions The portions here a huge. This last time we get one personal pizza and one large and we ate for 3 days or more. The crust is thin and chewy which we like and there are plenty of toppings. it is a very busy place on the weekend so I came in and placed my order and came back in an hour. [14 Mar 2007 14:05:06]

The Best! I ordered out one night for my sister and I and I just happened to notice that they make Rice Balls. My sister makes them using an old family recipe that I love so I was skeptical about buying a restaurant made one. Oh my Gosh!! It was delicious and my sister loved it even more. Sal's food is always fresh and delicious. I would recommend them to anyone. [24 May 2007 09:32:12]
