Patrons of Capitol Hill restaurants tend to live or work in the neighborhood, but the number of restaurants that might lead Washingtonians to make a special trip to the Hill is increasing. - Washingtonian, Thomas Head, 1 February 1999 - suggest change

Personal touch
We have come to love Aatish on the Hill. The waiters know us, but more importantly remembered us on our second visit. The service is unmatched and the food as well! Even if you don't think you would like Pakistani food, you should give this a try.    [03 Jun 2003 11:41:40]

Delightful and budget-friendly
Aatish's strengths lie in it's low-key but efficient service and it's wonderful food. The kababs are among the best in Washington. The chicken, in particular, is succulent and well seasoned. Fish masala is made with salmon. All dishes can be made to your preferred level of spiciness. The naan (flat bread) is divine.    [16 Apr 2004 15:01:53]

The best in the entire Northeast
The food at Aatish is superior to any Indian/Pakistani food not just in Washington DC, but in the entire Northeaast. The service is efficient and professional.    [27 May 2006 17:48:50]
