A Must for the Gay Tourist
OK, the food is excellant, but what really sets this place apart is location and atmosphere. Its on the block with lots of other gay establishements, and the clientelle is heavily - very heavily - gay. The service is excellant, super-friendly, and just plain *fun*. I've had out of town friends with me who said they have never been in a place so welcoming and friendly. Its likely to be crowded, and you'll probably have to wait for a table. Try and get one in front, where you can "see and be seen" through the glass windows overlooking the street. Enjoy a drink at the bar while you wait. Maybe make some new friends on the spot, or at the next table during dinner. Everyone is one big happy family at Annie's.    [29 Sep 2006 14:14:33]
