Disgusting Pad Thai
I usually get my Pad Thai from [another restaurant]. However, I happend to be in the vicinity of Bangkok One's restaurant today and took a chance and ordered. The shrimp in it were stale, the sauce lacked a lot of taste and it was overloaded with bean sprouts, which makes the dish much more tangy than it should be. I'd say skip this place and go somewhere else.    [14 Jul 2003 13:56:11]

Great peanut sauce
I'm the peanut sauce number one fan and I've been to many thai places around DC. Most of their peanut sauce tastes like peanut butter mix with water, but not bangkok one's. its peanut sauce is thick and creamy with rich peanut and curry taste. I especially love the steamed chicken and broccoli dish that comes with peanut sauce and rice. you've gotta try it. although, the restaurant is too crowded at lunch.    [01 Dec 2006 00:37:06]
