Description
As its name implies, Bourbon serves every brand of bourbon available in DC, and has plans to import even more. If bourbon isn't your drink of choice, there are over ten beers on tap as well as a wine dispenser.
Bourbon offers simple bar fare such as a Maryland-style crab cake sandwiches, grilled cheese and burgers.

bourbon from a cactus?
LET ME GET THIS OUT OF THE WAY. The service, outside of the guy with the tats, was horrible. The girl that was working with him could have been one of the most unpersonable people I have ever met. I like checking out new bars in area. I stopped by with three friends, ordered a round of beers and bourbons, tipped forty percent, and the girl acted like I killed her puppy. Not bad, not great
Nice menu, service is mediocre, venue is too small and not laid out properly. The patio is nice if crowded. What are they planning for the upstairs? It needs another bar. Worth a pre-game trip or appetizers. [27 Jan 2004 18:56:42]

Disagree on the service
Maybe that guy below just wasn't nice. Service is fine- it's just crowded so the bartenders won't be able to get to you right away. The drinks are great, super ambience, great bar food. Only place in DC with Lindemann's lambic on tap. A much needed place in Glover Park. [28 Feb 2004 22:51:41]

Great neighborhood bar
Excellent bar. Bourbon, over the last year, has become my favorite DC hangout. The previous reviewer was right about the service at the time, but the waitstaff was replaced in its entirety about a week after that. The bourbon selection is unequalled, the food is excellent, and the staff are friendly and interesting. [11 Apr 2004 14:23:23]
