Just the idea of combining a wedge of freshly baked and buttered (and cinnamon sprinkled) bread with a mug of hot chocolate tempts even the most stubborn dieter - Digital City - suggest change

Love it My parents live on the Navy Yard near Pennsylvania Ave. That is my favorite cafe in DC. I recommend the french toast or the california salad! If you become a regular they will treat you like royalty. [11 Nov 2004 16:36:41]

Not happy Poor service on a busy Sunday? That I can understand, to some extent. But the waitresses seemed confused and exhausted. The side for Sunday Brunch at noon was browned leafed salad, wilting, dressed for hours, and with a nice crunchy bit of dirt for added texture. The waitress claimed that they had run out of potatoes, as she said usually happens on the weekends. Strange for a restaurant at two paces from the largest farmers market in the area. The eggs benedict were way over cooked. If I had wanted boiled eggs, I would have stayed home and made my own. Pastries looked tempting, but they were not about to get more of my money after the fiasco. [15 Oct 2007 14:15:46]
