Overated; and over heat lamped
This was a disappointment for the $700 check we had. There were long lapses between courses where I was able to move the car on the street from meter to meter. Additionally, when our appetizers arrived the crab soup had been sitting under the heat lamps so long it had developed a skin on the top of it. When our meals arrived; they forgot one of our diners meal, a veal chop, and it was not ready for another 20 minutes. The filet was reasonable but over done. Ordered rare to medium rare it was medium. Basically - the chef needs to supervise the front of the house better. If the waiters were more attentive then the food would've been delivered when it was ready and it would've been better.    [10 Aug 2003 12:24:30]
