Description

An almost homey crabhouse, the Dancing Crab serves up crabs of all sorts year-round, priced by the dozen; the menu does contain other seafood alternatives, though. The true regulars prefer the bar on the upper level, which doubles as a sports bar and home to karaoke night on Tuesdays.

Crab house lovers only
We thought the oysters and mussels were incredibly fresh and prepared just right. The extra large crabs were fantastic. Not everyone plunks down money for the quality of food alone (decor is basic, but has that crab-house appeal). If you're looking for a "local-style" Chesapeake Bay experience in DC without any pretense, this is the perfect place. Service was very friendly and relaxed.    [22 Dec 2005 20:39:13]
