The front door vestibule is tight, but the rest of the restaurant is very easy to get a wheelchair around.

Equinox has been recognized by "Conde Nast Travelers" as one of the world's 60 best new restaurants, and has been voted best new restaurant in DC by the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington and Gourmet, Bon Appetit, Esquire and Washingtonian magazines.

Tony Chittum, sous chef at Equinox, won the mid-Atlantic regional Chaine des Rotisseurs 2003 Young Chefs competition at L'Academie de Cuisine.

Great food and atmosphere
I cannot speak more highly of this restaurant. The food is always exemplary and the service is terrific. Chef Todd Gray is very down-to-earth and you'll likely see him in the dining area when he is not busy cooking. Guaranteed excellent food!    [02 May 2003 11:45:40]

Stay Away
Worst experience. Limited menu. Tasting menu was bland & boring. One entree cold & oversalted, one overdone & unedible, one unacceptably fatty. Dessert was unmemorable. Entrees arrived 45 minutes after appetizers. I enjoy leisurely dining; this was ridiculous & exasperating. Server was completely unattentive & unapologetic.
