Good food but disorganized seating
Reasonably good food but there was no host or hostess to seat guests. The owner (older man who seemed to be in charge) was only concerned about telling those waiting for tables to not block the doorway. Apparently regulars just walk in and take any open table and jump ahead of others waiting to be seated.    [24 Jun 2003 09:57:27]

Totally rude servers
My daughter,grandson and I visited Luigi's last spring. The line was out the door and the space was extremely cramped but we had high expectations for dinner. We were confused as to how we were ever going to be seated as there was no one taking names. We finally made it to the front of the line only to be passed over by the next waiter who took the party of 'suits' behind us. I protested but she ignored me. We finally got seated but our waiter was non-existant and another man took our drink orders and that was the last time our drinks were filled. We were totally ignored by the man who was supposed to be our waiter. Maybe he was upset he didn't get the 'suits'?
I have never felt so disrespected anywhere as I did at Luigi's. We usually tip very well and I have rarely ever not tipped a waiter but I was so upset with Luigi's staff that I made it known they didn't deserve our money. I would not reccomend this restaurant to anyone unless you wear a suit.    [16 Feb 2008 21:10:29]
