Contrived but rather cute, this snug spot calls the forest to mind. - Washington Post Magazine, Tom Sietsema, 8 December 2002 - suggest change

Two thumbs down
My group was sorely disappointed on a Thursday night. We waited....and waited...and waited for service. The staff apologized multiple times and did take the apps off the bill, but it didn't compensate for the disappointing experience. One of my party didn't even get her drink until dinner FINALLY arrived. And the Mojitos were the WORST any of us have EVER experienced? Were they even Mojitos? We don't think so. The gazpacho was quite nice, the fried oysters nice. The entrees were average. Don't take your vegetarian who eats fish--choices are limited. The cheese plate was a joke--a quarter-sized dollop. And the brownie for dessert was DRY DRY, as if baked a week ago. We so wanted to enjoy this cute spot. Won't be going back though....    [21 Jul 2006 11:58:40]
