Editors' Pick - Washington Post Entertainment Guide, Tom Sietsema, 14 November 2004; Ginger Cove, located on the street level, could pass for a beach party, with its alternating green, yellow and sea-blue color scheme and menu of "reggae" chicken wings and lunch sandwiches made with roti, the crepelike, whole-wheat Indian bread. One flight of stairs down is Ginger Reef, which speaks more to Saturday night on the town. We're talking sophisticated fare -- roasted quail and stuffed leg of lamb... - suggest change
Alluring, inventive Caribbean fare in downtown DC. - AOL City Guide, Melanie Mize Renzulli; Ginger Cove is two levels of palm-frond-shaded glamour, where you can indulge in ginger-spiked rack of lamb, jerk chicken and island-inspired entrees of lobster, quail and ocean-fresh fish. - suggest change
Washingtonian Restaurant Review - Washingtonian Online, Thomas Head, 0 March 2004; Fans of Sharon Banks' Caribbean cooking at the restaurants she has run with her husband will be delighted to learn that the pair is back in business at Ginger Cove in Penn Quarter. A second, more formal restaurant, Ginger Reef, with its own kitchen and bar, should open soon on the ground floor at the same address. - suggest change

Ginger Cove -- Great Food
I had lunch there and will be sure to return. The presentation looked great and the taste was top notch too! Prices were very in line, you can go and have a great lunch for under $15, but bring a bit more because you will want dessert!    [18 Oct 2005 15:37:50]
