Best drinks I can('t) remember!
Love this place, absolutely love it. Closed the place down Wednesday night, or so I'm told (wink).

Something about the Hawk'n'Dove just makes me want to tackle life all the more. Don't believe me? It was 2:45 in the morning and I was on my way to the "office"!

Well, long story short, I would have reported for work at 3:00 a.m. if not for one of our fair city's men in blue putting some pylons in the road to make me think twice.

Absolutely Awful
Went for Lunch on Sunday afternoon - Service was awful - FOOD WAS DANGEROUS! - Ordered a Burger (well done) with Onion rings - The burger was RAW! When I sent it back I got the same burger back cooked to the consistency of charcoal with a new bun that looked like someone had stepped on it. Waitstaff seemed angry about the whole thing. Anyway I didn't eat it, at least they didn't charge me. Needless to say I won't be back.

(As a side note - from a Texan point of view - they had "Shiner Bok" [sic] on the menu but the waiter informed me - "they don't brew it anymore - they went out of business." I assured him that the little brewery in Shiner was going quite strong and had just celebrated its 97th anniversary.)    [22 Oct 2006 19:00:52]
