A taste to die for and a lingering flavor to live for!
The big G man is hands down the best sub I've had. It's a g man sub with double the meat, and well worth the extra buck or two. If you do this and get chips you can have two meals if you choose not to gourge yourself. (I can't stop.) The peppers and the secret oil make the sandwich -- get it with everything. They have great breakfast sandwiches too. They are only open Monday through Friday 7-3:30, but well worth trip. It's family owned and they are great. The only down side is that you can't eat there. For the years that I worked in DC, I lived at Mangialardos and ate my fill of G-Man sandwiches. Nothing compares to this taste of heaven. After moving from the DC area, the only thing I truly missed was a G-man sub. Any excuss to go back to DC includes a trip to Mangialardos. Let's be honest... any time you see police cars illegally parked three deep outside an eatery, you know it's the best. [21 Feb 2008 11:15:49]
