Matchbox gets it right!
Having lived in Manhattan for 8 years, and eaten A LOT of pizza, I would say that Matchbox is as close to the overall quality of New York pizza that is available in DC. It isn't Ella's or Two Amy's--that's Neapolitan which is like apples and oranges to what this offers. The entrees don't fall far behind either, the the Chef's new duck dish is awesome! If you have some time, check this place out--they don't take reservations so you might have to wait a bit.    [03 May 2004 13:17:51]
